- This is a Brexit Election. In the European Elections in May 2019 the Liberal Democrats came second in Mitcham and Morden. That election was about showing our objection to Brexit, this election is about stopping Brexit.

The Conservatives want to force through a damaging Brexit that will wreck our economy and risk the breakup of the United Kingdom. Boris Johnson has already shown his weakness by failing to get a better deal than May and being forced into calling an election.
Who knows where Jeremy Corbyn stands on Brexit? Labour now say they want to negotiate their own Brexit deal. You won’t see his face on any Labour leaflets, but voting Labour in Mitcham and Morden will put Jeremy Corbyn one step closer to Downing Street.
A Lib Dem government led by Jo Swinson will stop Brexit on day one and get on with the job of improving people’s lives. The £50bn Remain Bonus will only be available if we can stop Brexit now!

My Priorities for Mitcham, Morden and Colliers Wood
The Labour Party are letting down the residents of Mitcham and Morden at every level of government. With a Liberal Democrat MP in Mitcham and Morden, things could be so much better.
The Labour and Tory parties support Heathrow expansion. Only the Lib Dems are fighting to stop more noise, more emissions and more disruption to Merton residents!
I will hold the Council to account to ensure that Veolia fulfil the terms of their contract and clean up our mucky streets. I will also make sure the council provide more rubbish bins on our streets to reduce casually dropped litter.
I will work with the council, TFL, and the government to get funding for step-free access at Tooting, Morden South and St Helier stations to improve accessibility for disabled people, parents and carers with prams, I will also hold Southern Rail and Govia Thameslink to account for their poor services and demand changes if they cannot improve.
I will work hard to bring quality businesses to Mitcham and Morden town centres to revitalise our tired and run-down shopping areas.
I will work with environmental groups, such as Friends of the Earth and local residents associations, to ensure that the climate emergency declared by the council is not an empty gesture.
I will be the local MP you deserve!
